"Mob City"

I'll be checking it out if it's on at a time/day that doesn't conflict with meetings, chores and my bedtime (typically around 10pm).

I'll check it out if it doesn't involve massive swearing, disgusting people being amorally honest, and.... oh, I see. Never mind.

We binge-watched all three installments yesterday...

I have to say it was pretty good...

If you like the old Robert Mitchum style film noire or the Raymond Chandler style detective novels, I think you'd like this...

They did a really great job of capturing the look, dialogue, and feel of that style and period; it was a pretty decent homage to the genre...

They had a challenge in melding real historical figures and events with fictional characters and a fictional storyline, but I thought they navigated it pretty well...

It looks like they've set it up for another run; I'll definitely check it out when it comes on.
