I see it co-stars Jennifer Saunders, (of French and Saunders and Absolutely Fabulous) and it's based on the series of stories written by PG Wodehouse; those facts alone make me think it would be worth checking out...

Here's a clip:
It has kind of a Jeeves and Wooster "feel" to it, (not surprising, since Wodehouse also wrote those stories)

the funny part is that they use the same plots over and over and its still great.

Wes, have you seen the Jeeves and Wooster series? If you haven't, if you like this you'll really like that one.

yeah, I ve seen some of it.
pretty good, but I think blandings is brilliant, if only because it makes the aristocracy a bit more likeable.
there always seems to be another, slightly inbred, niece who is in love with a pauper, and the future and present earl at blandings do their best to help them get on.
at first I thought it was kinda repetitive , but then I realized that there was actually a point to it all. in 20 yrs, when the son is earl, all of the nieces and their husbands will owe everything to him. not in the show, but it s deeper than it first appears. sub plots and sub text abound....
