We watched the premier of this one last night...

I've got to believe that the Battle Creek Michigan Police Department must hate this show...

They are so poorly equipped that in the first scene, a Battle Creek detective has to commandeer the video camera from a guy recording his daughter's ballet recital for the video, and for the audio, they have to use the child monitor from one of the detectives who just had a kid...(and then in the middle of bringing the Bad Guy down, the battery dies...)

And then on top of that, when they move in to bring down the bad guy, even the taser doesn't work...

And while they don't even have functioning cell phones, this Strongly Handsome Goodfellow type (with the sort of teeth that sparkle) from the FBI moves in...

I watched this the other night, definitely promising stuff.

Ah, that's what I've seen in a couple of your posts lately (seriously). Apparently one black X that I quoted back to you in another thread was something do with Vikings judging by a following post from someone else. Did you change your system somehow? I saw the preview of that a few weeks back and look forward to watching it . . . I stream CBS via their Kindle app, so it will be another week before I get to see the pilot.

Hopefully Battle Creek won't take too awful much offense, since it's TV after all.

Yeah, I wonder why I'm seeing black x no image on some of yours and yet when you just quoted it back to me a couple of posts ago, it show up fine. I bet that happened with the VIKINGS (?) image you posted in the other thread. I got the black x and quoted it back to you with a scathingly brilliant bit of wit, Edmond. But I bet you say your own image OK and wondered what I was going on about. Now see, this is real nattering.

I've written this before, but I discovered that if I left click on "IMAGE" and drag it to the address bar, it will show the image.

At least that works for me. I use Firefox but I don't know if that makes any difference.

OK Joe - I got it. Left click, copy the properties, open a new tab, paste it in the address box and hit go. All that work just to find out LJ called me an asshole.

Yes, I can understand why you would consider that to be a waste of effort...

It's not like you learned something that you didn't already know...
