Cornish star gazing

I remember many years ago, when I went on my first Boy Scout camping trip...

And for the first time I saw a sky that was that filled with stars; much like that photo...(as a suburban kid, I had never seen anything like it before...so many of the stars are washed out by ground lights...)

My reaction was, "it looks like a Planetarium..." 8-)

Imagine the sense of awe and curiosity that primitive peoples must have felt thousands of years ago, when they gazed upon a night sky like that above them every night....
