Truly lovely. You had a beautiful night for it, too. (Are those stones hard on the feet-bones? Also, how do you spread out a towel/blanket on a beach like that?)

Taking folding chairs was a good idea! That looks like an ideal place and time - you are blessed.

The stones were more slippery and trippery than hard on the feet-bones.
No towels or blankets, we all brought beach chairs. It gets sandy at the waterline, so I imagine if you want to lie down, that's where you do it.
PS - the water temps have been amazing since the weekend. It was cold for so long, and now all of a sudden the water is 70 degrees! That's tropical for up here. I've been meeting up with friends and doing morning swims. It's pretty damn awesome. I'm trying hard to just enjoy every day as it comes, I cannot even begin to think about, well, you know . . . .

Indeed, I just sent an email to my fellow book group members comments that we are indeed blessed.

Yeah, I'm getting to the point myself where "winter" is no longer "fun."

What book did you folks discuss at the beach? Great setting for it . . . I love the lighthouse at Scituate!
