Well, that's what some people here think you should DO when you're aging, isn't it?

Interesting song; I hadn't heard it before. Very.....sensual.

And, Jim...as with most Leonard Cohen songs, if you don't like his singing you can usually find a better, easier-to-listen-to, version (in this case, it's by Billy Joel). It's hard to believe that you don't like anyone's version of, say, "Hallelujah"...(Jeff Buckley) or "Everybody Knows" (Concrete Blond). (Hell, even "Suzanne" sounds great when sung by Judy Collins or Joan Baez.)




ETA: Poking around just now, I came across this kick-ass version of "Suzanne" by Nina Simone! (DAMN! I just DARE anyone to not like it!)

It was released in 1992 on The Future. This 2012 recording is of the first time it was performed live.
