We settled in to watch the Luther two and a half hour season 4 special a little while ago... (It's going to rain all day; I've started a big pot of chili, corn bread coming later...a great day to just kick back and watch some good stuff on the telly)
But the damn feed for the show in Comcast On Demand keeps pixalating, and the sound keeps cutting out...
Needles to say, it's a little problematic to try to watch a complex murder mystery with 25% of the dialog cutting out randomly...
I don't know if I should be pissed at Comcast or BBC America, but somebody's at fault...
Ylu mean I could have been watching TV instead of getting my daughters washer and dryer ready for use. Or hanging up the pictures and plaques on the walls or reframing the doors that the previous owner screwed up? Call me and let me know next time.
ETA Good thing the Jets were on saturday night so I could watch the game while trimming the Christmas tree.
Hey Jim - in the UK, "I'm pissed" means you are drunk
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
And if you want to talk about being really annoyed about a tv-related problem. I had set the last Fargo episode to record (and picked the second showing of it, so it would be later at night so as to not interfere with anyone else's viewing). When I get an hour to watch it, the recording ended at the halfway point because "somebody" had clicked off the recording so that they could record a frickin' late night program for a five minute interview, plus whatever other endlessly played show they wanted to record that night. As you know, the OnDemand playing of Fargo is loaded with commercials and takes at least an extra 30 minutes over using the DVR, and you can't even fast-forward to where you left off watching.
I love luxury problems.
The son and fiance are going to be here for the next 5 days. Of course they will be overtaking my man cave so I will be hanging out with the dog.
