My daughter is involved in a theater/musical project where they are supposed to do a "60s" montage...
They've already got one bit put together based on The 5th Dimension's Age Of Aquarius, (Very cute; a dozen teenage girls wearing bandannas, Tye-died shirts, face paint, and bell bottom pants singing "This is the dawning of the Age Of Aquarius"... )
But Tati and her best friend, (they are the "producers" and "directors" of this production) asked me for suggestions for 60s musical and dance routines they could do...
After reminding her for the umpteenth time that I am NOT "60s generation" (I'm 70's generation; nobody wants to do a musical salute to disco... )
I said I'd see what I could come up with...
And I came across this...it really fits the bill, and I have to say Nancy Sinatra was quite the looker in her day: (they'll do it a little less sleazy)

The Blues Brothers are 80s...
Plus it has to be stuff that can involve about a dozen girls...(they don't all have to be in every single routine, but they all have to be involved) and also, being an all-girl high school, there can't be anything that requires guys...(an aspect of this of which heartily approve... )

A little Diana Ross and The Supremes might work:

Right movie, wes, but the wrong scene. He wanted some dance moves.
And then there were these guys and this song, which actually *WAS* released in the 60s...

If they want to go to the beginning of the 60s, they could do something that involves the Twist.
Like this...

or a little Alice in Wonderland skit..., but I guess that if boys are out, drugs are out too.., but it captures the sixties

and this was the sixties too.
seeing as how women are in all combat rolls now (which I dislike, extremely)
and depending on how ambitious they are...
I can see an avant gard type performance of this working...
.
...but I think your nancy Sinatra one would be more fun...
