I notice that the series based on James Herriot's books ("All Creatures Great and Small"), which was set and partially filmed in North Yorkshire, is conspicuous by its absence.  I also think that Portmeirion (in Wales) should have been included as well.
Or was this illustration just for "currently" popular shows on the telly?

And just for the record, I enjoyed watching "Two's Company" (with Elaine Stritch and Donald Sinden) when it was imported/syndicated and shown on this side of the pond.

That is a nice map. It does lack two of my favorites, Prime Suspect and Rumpole, both London based. I'm sure if we put our minds to it, we could find more good shows not on the map, than on it, enough to do our own map.

I've been enjoying Mad Dogs, which is free if you have Amazon Prime. It is an American version of a British show.

Has anyone seen the British version? It would be interesting to see the differences and similarities between the two.

I can't see all of the map, so don't know if Foyle's War is on there or not. Downton Abbey doesn't seem to be ther, either, although the location of Highclere Castle is well known.

The little town used in Doc Martin is available in Google Earth, and I have used Google Earth's Street View to see the building used for Doc's office.

All three of those are on there, Fafhrd. Foyle's War was principally in Hastings.

Right click - view image (I can say that no because I'm using Firefox and not Exploder).

If you really want to see an image and you use Exploder, then you can always right click, Save Image to your Pictures folder. Then go look at it and magnify to your heart's content.

Portmeirion *IS* the village just as much as Askrigg in North Yorkshire was Darrowby in "All Creatures Great and Small", or Highclere Castle in Hampshire is "Downton Abbey".
