It's too many to be just great-grandchildren - who are the extras?
eta - the older two on the left are Edward's kids (I think ??)
They always start off cute but then they all get that horse face from the Mountbatten side.

What an extraordinary woman...
A true living part of human history...
We'll not soon see her like pass this way again...
And now...
God Save The Queen!

Someone in this thread is a diehard, ass kissing, Anglophile. Great photographic composition, however.
My Brit family all agree that if not for the money generated in tourism the royal family would be nothing more than costumed cartoon characters pandering to the masses in Piccadilly Circus.

Happy 90th birthday to someone's dear old granny. Happens every day in the world and none are more important than any other.
I hope I live long enough to see all the monarchies of the world fall; nothing else is so destructive to the notion of equality among humankind and I just don't get the folks who salivate over 'royals'.

I was in England for her Silver jubilee, then her Diamond, but screwed up and missed the last whatever it was. I may try to get over in August to make up for that, and then hit Norway to spend time with an old high school friend.
I believe things will change radically for the royals when she dies.

Fun Fact: Good ol' Lilibet and Marilyn Monroe were both born in 1926. Age is relative.
