I'll see if it's available on any of the services I have and check it out...

(I've seen Toby Jones in a number of things, but never in a comedy role; mostly as some kind of evil/mad scientist...)

I just binged both seasons, they're short and episodes are only 28-29 minutes. It's a lovely show and I'm happy to report a third & final season will be shown later this year!

Lovely review of the start of season 3 here...
That’s the thing with Detectorists: you might not be literally rolling on the floor laughing, but it’s so beautifully written and performed – sparse, droll, understated and believable.
