As we observe the centenary of the War to End All Wars, I call your attention to the broadway singer who helped popularize "Over There" She also was first to publicly perform 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game". The lyrics we all sing in the bleachers were written by her husband.
At her death she was placed in a silver coffin. But her body sat for 18 years in Woodlawn Cemetery in NYC, awaiting burial in her final resting place, in an unmarked grave. She finally gets a tomb stone next week.

And now you know the rest of the story, one worthy of Paul Harvey.
