I can t speak for all of us, just my version of us.

gen x is strange and undefinable...

we aren t hippies, tho we longed for their utopia, we saw the folly of it. good music tho. idealistic stuff. some of it....

we aren t the me generation really , tho they say that that is us too....

some had ozzie tattoed to their knuckles and took out their impotence in useless and often violent ways...

we turned to Floyd and escapism of all sorts. general feelings of hopelessness, and loss of a way of life is pretty much universal.

rural close knit community is a great thing that keeps people honest and good. people will do almost anything in anonymity.

small town America was a good thing, theirs were pious, pompous towns.... the scalywags had their towns too. birds of a feather. to each his own....

go do your thing and live with what happened. not so bad really. if you didn t want trouble, you didn t go to church street.....

If they've been hoping that the US would become a vassal state to the Russian Empire, they certainly have more reason to be hopeful now then ever before...

The McCain thread is an example. There are plenty of us who have issues with McCain and his policies and some of his past behavior. But using entirely fake news, and then repeating it over and over and over (and adding nothing of substance in all that repetition), to try and discredit McCain's Navy service is just plain low.

And stop mindlessly repeating Trumpanzee talking points. How about your own analysis of the facts. Or a discussion about the grey areas. I note you've not posted a thing about Helsinki. Is that because you're as appalled as most of the rest of us, or do you think you cannot criticize your own leader?

Do what you will, of course. Whether you stay or go is entirely up to you; this place and the posters here have no power over you unless you grant it to us.

To be honest wes, at the moment I think your return to regular posting here has had the effect of kind of livening the place up a bit...

The volume of posting seems to be up, as people post to challenge your horseshit assertions...

Of course if you become too excessive, "livening up" can turn to "burn out"...
