Loved "Bat Out of Hell." Mind you I was a Meat Loaf fan from Rocky Horror Picture Show which was a couple of years earlier.

I liked a lot of Steinman's work; I even liked his collaboration with Andrew Lloyd Weber on "Whistle Down the Wind" (I saw the first West REnd Production and it was very enjoyable; it was pretty bad when it was reworked and toured the US--but I liked a lot of the music). I still listen to his Bad for Good album on vinyl; he's not a great singer, but the writing shows through.

RIP.
