Oh, the end of an era. The Last Waltz may be my all-time favorite concert film, in close contention with Gimme Shelter.

Sad one. Who else could have put Stoneman's cavalry in a brilliant song? Thumbs up for Last Waltz too

Back to the basement tapes for me this week.

It's just not the same when some kid named Da Def Toiletseat 42 nods off.

Seriously, the era Sue mentioned is rapidly drawing to a close. I pulled out some of my vinyl albums of the Band last night--I forgot how good they were. Rest in Peace.
