Yes, I saw it happen from my grandmother's car at a drive-in movie theater in Hyannis, Massachusetts! My grandma thought it was all so silly.

Maybe grandma meant saving New York was silly
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

She loved the experience, because she loved me and I was clearly delighted with it all. I think she was a little embarrassed by the sex parts, which isn't a shocking response from a grandma after all.

Also at the age I was then (13) I hadn't quite grasped the scope of my grandma's life, which began in 1913 in a farmhouse in rural southcoast Massachusetts where the only transportation was a buckboard and the farm horse, and there wasn't even electricity in the farmhouse. The only entertainment was sitting around reading the Bible or some other book, or playing the upright piano. Now that I'm older it really blows my mind to think about the scope of my grandmother's life and what she observed and experienced over her 93 years of life.

And just like Tokyo was saved again and again from the atomic monsters (Godzilla, Rodan, that flying turtle [ETA--Gamera. I Iooked it up], ...), we have been saved again and again from the evil specters (not to be confused with Spectre, from which we have been saved by the actions of a numbered man) by this this group and their copycats.
