Terrible news. Reports are conflicting. All over the internet it's saying they were killed by their son, Nick. The press conference going on right now is not confirming the deaths and the LAPD representative is saying there is no suspect.

When I read the breaking news headline, it immediately crossed my mind that some religious nut angry about his God & Country documentary could have attacked them.
But a stabbing is a very personal murder and an addicted estranged child would be a good suspect for such a heinous act.
It's just awful, what a terrible way to end. I can't imagine how the other kids are feeling today.
Yes indeed. The universe as we know it, with the present President of the USofA, continues to inform me of the sad limits of my imagination. Who would have thought the CinC would complement the Sec'y of Defense (War) for acts of piracy.
Sort of a review of the Soviet Mental Health community of 75 years ago from another perspective. Clearly any one who does not blindly love the Leader must be suffering from a mental illness. From my own perspective, the quote above reflects complete psychosis on the part of the author, psychosis defined as a break or inability to connect with reality.
As I finished this post, my computer gave me a news update, that Rob Reiner's son has been arrested for the death.
It doesn't get any better. In remarks made at the White House a few days ago with regard to the shootings on the campus of Brown University, he dismissed it with three words — "Things can happen." He's already called female members of Congress 'piggy' or worse, he and his sycophants are trying to bring 'retard' and 'retarded' into acceptable usage again — and now this? Someone should tie Trump down and force him to watch this, over and over, until it finally sinks in....
Seriously, if crap like this Tweet or Truth or whatever it was is going to be part and parcel of "Making America Great Again"®, or if this is going to be the new normal in his so-called 'Golden Age of America' — I'm going to have to take a hard pass on participating. -"BB"-
Rob Reiner’s son was living in his parents’ guest house because he had been through rehab and was cured. That could be the only reason he was living there. Surely he had his life together and was able to have his own home. He did not need to rely on the charity of his parents, so isn’t that great?
I reckon I have to agree with you people: drugs are great for the human mind, able to make their lives so much better. They should be a required course in liberal community elementary and secondary schools, so the children can learn the glories of a substance that makes them feel so good. And on Election Day, care should be taken to provide extra doses available to the community.
