Final performance..

A troubled 19-year-old stabbed himself to death on stage at an open mic night after playing a song called Sorry For All the Mess.

Kipp Rusty Walker repeatedly plunged the six-inch blade into his chest as the audience clapped and cheered in the mistaken belief it was piece of performance art.

But when he collapsed in a pool of his own blood they started screaming in horror and rushed to help him, but his wounds were too severe and he died soon after.

The bizarre suicide has left the community of Bend in Oregon stunned and wondering why he would end his life in such a public way.

But questions will be asked of mental health authorities after it emerged that Walker had told friends of his plan and had threatened to kill himself before.

On that occasion he had been taken in for treatment but was released back into the community.

Walker took his own life at the Strictly Organic Coffee Company in front of around 15 people during its open mic night.

He got up on stage and performed the number on the keyboard before killing himself.

He was taken to hospital but died shortly after.

That would have livened up some of those poetry slams down on Coventry in Cle Hts in the early 70s. Maybe he was into self-criticism

Plagiarism...
A Colombian art student has died after he wrapped his head in a plastic bin bag as part of a performance.

John Jairo Villamil, 25, suffocated during a show at the University del Bosque, in Bogota, intended to highlight the city's growing reputation as the most violent in the world.

Tragically, friends filming the act didn't realise he was fighting for his life until it was too late.

The footage - too graphic to publish - shows Mr Villamil placing the black liner over his head and standing in a bucket of water.

He then picks up a leaf in his left hand and a chain with bills attached in his right before standing to attention as the audience look on.

But as his brain is gradually starved of oxygen, he becomes visibly weaker - and his breathing increasingly heavier.

Shockingly nobody steps in at any point to end the stunt, not even when the young student slumps to the floor seemingly unconscious.

Tragically, because he had performed the piece a number of times without trouble before, onlookers thought the deep breathing and convulsions were simply part of the act.

When they finally realised the act had gone horribly wrong, medics were called to the scene but were unable to revive him, realising he was brain dead.

Since when is something too graphic to publish?

When it shows an actual death as opposed to a pretend death.

I seem to recall seeing the video of Daniel Pearl getting his head hacked off. Also recall watching a video of two people being stoned to death. No pretending in either.

You don't get that footage on news or paper sites in the UK or Aus.

For the MSM in the USA you are mostly correct (although I have seen dead bodies shown on shows like COPs and such), but there are plenty of things that can be leaked.

It was probably an art project.
