CANADIAN pop sensation Justin Bieber refused to crack after coming under attack during a performance in front of thousands of screaming fans in Sydney, Sky News reported.

The teen superstar was performing at the city's Acer Arena on Friday night, when six eggs were launched from the crowd.

Footage of the incident showed two eggs landing within a metre of the singer during a routine, before four more dropped seemingly from above him, smashing instantly at the front of the stage.

Bieber backtracked away from the audience as a helper quickly cleaned up the mess, before the show went on.

The incident prompted a storm of criticism on social networking sites with one fan taking to Twitter to warn the culprit, "Dear person who threw eggs at @justinbieber in Sydney, you now have over #9millionbeliebers after you, be afraid! We go harder than hard!"

Talking about Bieber...
IT was a moment between one internet sensation and another.

Justin Bieber invited Sydney schoolboy Casey Heynes on stage at his Melbourne concert last night to introduce his hit song Never Say Never.

''Everybody give it up for this kid,'' he said.

"I just wanted to say, he is very inspirational, he shows other people to stand up for what they believe in."

Casey Heynes became an internet sensation after he body-slammed another student during a verbal and physical attack.

The Year 10 student had been bullied all his schooling life and the video went viral, with internet users praising Heynes for striking back for bullying victims everywhere.

Bieber tweeted a link to a news story on Heynes with the words, "This is Casey the punisher... a kid who stood up for himself against bullying. a real life hero."

He then tweeted another link of Heynes on stage with him, "2nite we tracked down Casey and his family and flew him to the show. Thank you Casey. #stopbullying."

Being Down Under where things spin in a different direction, isn't throwing eggs a sign of appreciation?
