Doesn't sounds like it would be the plot for a good movie.

But it is, we saw it last night.

With qualifications.
1. Some knowledge of the actors and their work is needed.
2. The humour tends to be very British.
3. The humour is balanced by pathos.


We've got the TV series which this movie is based, coming over from the UK on DVD, really looking forward to watching it. (Sean & SMF will get a copy!)

It was a marvelous work and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

Hamlet 2 (far far better than anyone would expect it to be) and various other supporting roles
