Ooh, it looks good and it also available in the US -- although my library doesn't have it and because it is a new book, I can't get it through interlibrary loan. $11.99 is just too much to pay for Kindle, but I downloaded a sample to read. Ironically, one of the characters has the same name as my father!

Speaking of Kindle, it occurred to me that it would be useful for magazines, which I enjoy reading, but hate to keep and also hate to throw out -- like the New Yorker, or Atlantic Monthly. Subscriptions are fairly reasonable (1/3 the cost of the digital or hard copy subscription), and while you miss out on some color and pics, they really are magazines which are all about the content. So, as I'm flying tomorrow, I figured why not try it out! Will report back on what I think.

Nice idea.

I've been following Michael Robotham for a while now, he's getting better with each book, and this one is certainly up there with the best works of my favourite authors.

It's also the best "post Iraq war" thriller/detective novel I've yet to read.
