Kindle Library Lending - LIVE in the US

Post by Guinevere »

Amazon/Kindle went live with lending via libraries (using the Overdrive ebook system) on 11,000 library systems yesterday. My library system had it up and running this morning, and I've got two books parked on my Kindle for 2 weeks, waiting to read -- with a stack more in my "hold" list. I spent some time today scrolling though the content offered. Not enough recent works, of course, but it is a start.
