A Lonely Place to Die

Just watched this after ripping the first rented one apart with a jack-knife while trying to open the locked DVD case - why does that happen? Cost me R100 because the nice lady said "Well just that much because we already made some money off renting it"
Anyway, I don't think this was great shakes as a movie - group of young climbers in Scotland find a kidnapped girl buried in the Highlands - breathing tube, some water and that's it. The tale of the rescue continues to the bloody end.
But more interesting really are the climbing sequences in the first 15-20 mins and even more especially in the "Extras - the Making Of". It's worth renting the DVD to see the Extras and I thought of Taff a lot while watching. Great that two brothers (directors, writers etc) actually went climbing in Snowdonia and the Nevises before starting the movie and the lengths they went to in order to produce "real" footage. Worth a look I think for someone like me who knows FA about climbing and cares less.
