Actress Sofia Vergara has bared her breasts in a provocative new spread for the Mexican issue of GQ magazine.

The Colombian-born beauty stripped down to a sheer blouse for the photoshoot, leaving little to the imagination and exposing her nipples.

In a second snap, the Modern Family star can also be seen proudly displaying her buttocks.

And Vergara, who turns 40 in July, admits she's not shy about showing off her body in a tasteful way - because her figure has helped her achieve mainstream success.

"I'm included in the lists of the best butt or breasts with the likes of Megan Fox (and) Mila Kunis, who are 20 years younger than me," she says.

"That's a great satisfaction. My career is because of my look and I am not ashamed of it. My look has opened so many doors."
