Michael Jackson's still dead.

I just rang Hen about this as it brought back a chucklesome memory.

Exactly one year ago today we were staying in a log cabin in the mountains of North Wales.



I was just waking, when Hen came into the bedroom and told me; "Michael Jackson's died!"

My first, "early morning, muzzy after a few pints the night before" reply? "I said he's been looking pale recently."

Recently? He paid millions of dollars for that pallor!

I would have been at work, or heading to work. I know this because I always seem to be at work!!
And it would have been one of those whispers than seems so unbelievable that everyone jumps onto a news site to see if it's true or not.
I remember the the first discussion on everyone's lips when it was confirmed (and after the initial surprise) was in relation to his fondness for young children.
I don't remember a lot of sadness or otherwise caring about Michael himself - except in the media.

It's sad that MJ is still dead.

But it's sad that a lot of people are dead and Michael wasn't any better of a person than anyone else who is currently dead.

just a thought.

He's just trying to beat it to the top of most famous dead persons, but he's up against Elvis, Kurt Cobain and Princes Di.
