Oh My Allegiance

Post by loCAtek »

George Takei's signature, deep base, Oh Myyy! Proceeds of this ringtone benefit the production of Allegiance, a new musical about the Japanese American Internment, near and dear to George Takei

Download Oh my

I've become a big fan of George Takei: his same-sex marriage, his humor, and I'd love to see his musical. :ok

At first glance I thought his button said, "It's OK to be taker!"

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Here I am with the cast of Allegiance - A New Musical, which starts performances in 20 days in San Diego. Will you do me the honor of "liking" our FB page? I bet the producers a round of drinks that we could get to 150,000 fans by opening and I'm feeling thirsty. Thanks, friends, and have a great Friday.

Allegiance - A New Musical

‎70 years ago, George Takei's family (shown here, yes that's George!) was put into an internment camp in Arkansas. LIKE and SHARE this interview with NPR about his experiences as an internee--and the little show called Allegiance - A New Musical that was inspired by it: http://www.allegiancemusical.com/articl ... giance-npr — at Los Angeles, CA.

it is an important story and one we should learn from.

We interned some of the most loyal and courageous Americans because of zenophobia. Much like the anti-immigrant hate campaign of the right-wing today.

Can't believe loyal and courageous Americans were interned because of a fear of suncream! Or fear of Zen buddhism for that matter.

I'd like an "X" please Alez
