Somewhere in the swamps of Jersey!

Post by Guinevere »

Friday night was my little sister's birthday, so we celebrated by meeting 50,000 of our closest friends at MetLife Stadium (formerly the Meadowlands) and sang and danced with the Boss. We even brought the boys -- the first grader (6) and 3rd grader (8 1/2) had a blast and the little one didn't want to leave. They made it through the main set -- 830-1100PM -- and we listened to most of the encore on our way back to the car. Great night, incredible show, the man -- who turns 63 today -- still has it.

Happy birthday, sis! Happy birthday, Bruce!

Glad you had a good time!

From this summer's New Yorker article:
He wants his audience to leave the arena, as he commands them, “with your hands hurting, your feet hurting, and your back hurting”
Amen, brother Bruce!

So he's looking like a faith healer while in fact trying to achieve the opposite!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Bruce does have a very spiritual side -- and I've never left a concert yet where my back, feet, and voice weren't sore from singing and dancing! But it's a good kind of pain

In the day.... but now that's how I get out of bed in the morning.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
