Phill McKindle

Ok, for Xmas the lovely Hen got me as one of my presents a Kindle, so all I need now is lots and lots of books to put on it!
I've already got all the Holmes novels and short stories downloaded as they are free, ditto with all of Dylan Thomas's stuff.
So can anyone point me at good sites which they use for free books? (legal or not so legal.)
Look at it this way, the more time I spend on the Kindle, the less time I spend here!

Torrent sites. Search for title or author + mobi. Also, download Calibre to convert books you can only find in ePub format to mobi.

Mobi is the kindle file format. If you have any particular authors/titles in mind let me know as I have a shed load of stuff! Tiny files too so easy to Dropbox.

There you go, check your dropbox. I'm sure you'll find something you like in there. For bonus points see if you can spot the one title I paid actual, real money for...

What? You mean you're not planning your retirement on book sales?

Why do you feel it's OK to steal someone's intellectual property?

I don't, I've already paid for a hard copy.

Same here. I don't download anything onto my kindle unless I've already got it in hard/paperback.
If I don't already own it, I buy it.
