"Last Bus to Woodstock," Colin Dexter, Kindle Edition Auto-delivered wirelessly $12.52.

Hmmmm...lets see now;

Release Date: June 30, 1996

So for a book which is 16 years old, and can be picked up as a paperback second hand at charity shops for $2.00 they are asking $12.52?

Get to fuck with you.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that the Kindle is a con?

So uh . . . . don't buy it from Kindle but from the local second hand charity shop. I know - need to turn pages, need to watch out for silverfish and Lord only knows who's been reading it in their toilet. It's a risk but hey . . . strap a kid to your back and rock on!

Fucking hell!! Only 30p more to buy a hardcover book, than to download via the wires a digital version? What a fucking con.

You can buy a hardcover version for £1.37 cheaper from non-Amazon suppliers. Rip off!!!

No wonder the torrents are zinging...

You have lots of options. Buy it used in hardback. Find it at a bookstore. Download it from any number of places.

Or not.

Your definition of a "con" (confidence game?) is quite broad, and includes much what is customary retailing.
