Best Weekend Ever!!

Weekend of my life, well if you discount my wedding!
Cookie and I have been fans of D-A-D (the Danish band formerly known as Disneyland After Dark until Wally got the lawyers on them) for over 20 years.
In those 20 odd years they have played the UK twice, once in 2002 and then once last year.
Well then suddenly late last year they announced two UK gigs and without the traditional 10 year gap... well we had to go to both, right?
Both gigs in tiny venues, when we've watched them in Denmark it's been with 10,000 other people, the Wolverhampton gig was probably only 300 people. We got right to the front and had our ears broken by the amps
. The London gig was a fair bit bigger and unfortunately only managed to be second from the front.
Such a massive treat for us both, considering Cookie landed back home from Jakarta at 7am on the morning of the Wolves gig too!
Anyway here's a vid from Saturday. I might have watched this rather a lot since then
They're off to the US on thursday, if any of you like good old fashioned guitar bands and they're in your town go along and give them a cheer eh?
