Let's Set The Wayback Machine For....

Post by dales »

If you could return to any year in your life, which would it be?

I would choose 1965.

Things were really groovy visiting England and living in the SF Bay Area. 8-)

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I couldn't I'd be too tempted to change things that could fuck up what I have now. Perspective that could have allowed me to keep one of the first two loves of my life would have hindered me finding the third and having my wonderful son.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

1982: leaving home, moving to college, becoming a vege, wild parties, starting rock climbing, finding my love for the moors, climbing in the Alps and other mountains of Europe, playing in a band, doing my first stand up gigs, more sex and sexual partners than I had dreamed of.

But like C-P, I'd hate to destabilise the life I have now.

Senior year in high school Summer 1975 to summer 1976. Spent the summer of 75 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland (and an hour in France). Then went to football camp for a week. Had a great time my senior year, playing football, girls, beer, weekend parties, no responsibilites. I hated to graduate/grow up/turn 18yo.
