GASTONIA, N.C. (CBS Charlotte) — A North Carolina woman was jailed for calling 911 to report that Subway made her pizza wrong.
The Gaston Gazette reports that 37-year-old Bevalente Hall called 911 because Subway put marinara sauce on her “flatizza” and not pizza sauce. “It’s terrible, and I got my receipt,” Hall said on the recording obtained by the Gazette. “And I told them I can’t eat that kind of sauce. “The marinara sauce is terrible.”
Hall told the emergency dispatcher that she asked for a refund and a new sandwich, but Subway employees refused. Hall asked for a cop to be sent down to the restaurant. “They made my mom another sandwich without a problem, but they say they won’t make me a sandwich,” Hall said on the call. Gastonia authorities charged Hall with misuse of the 911 system and she was released on $2,000 unsecured bond.
Expensive sauce!
Expensive sauce!
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Re: Expensive sauce!

It's about damn time these idiots who endanger the lives of others with their moronic self-obsessed misuse of the 911 system started getting more than a lecture, or being told to hang up...
I'd like to see a lot more of this...
Let's see stiff fines, some community service ( a hospital emergency room strikes me as a good location to have them serve it) and a night in the hoosegow become the rule rather than the exception for these prize jerks...
