BBC Sport has been forced to apologise to Wales lock after listing him as Jake Ballsack in their online preview to their autumn international with Australia on Saturday.
While the 33-28 at the Millennium Stadium will have given no Welshman – or woman – any pleasure, Jake Ball and Wales team-mate Jamie Roberts took the mistake in good humour.
Roberts, the Wales centre, appears to have been the first member of Warren Gatland's squad to spot the error.
After the mistake was pointed out, a BBC spokesperson apologised, saying: “We are investigating how this error occurred and the piece was amended as soon as it was spotted.
“We apologise for any offence that may have been caused.”
Ball, meanwhile, accepted the apology while admitting that the gaffe could end up 'haunting him'.

I see the word "kickoff" in the text, and from the looks of them I would have guessed rugby, but I've never seen the tea cozy thing before...

A game for which play is virtually constant over two sessions of 40 mins, which is extremely physical, yet the players do not feel the need to wear such ludicrous armour as this;
Hey, here's a thought, maybe if your football players wore less, they'd be able to play for more than 10 seconds at a time, without needing a 2 minute break!

Actually, most of them DON'T wear all that. (Linemen might, that's about it.) In fact, the league has been REQUIRING them to wear MORE protection lately.!
