The CSB does seem to have jumped the shark for real this time.

I'm glad I met you all there, and glad we have this place now.

My life of late has not been conducive to much posting or even reading of threads, but I know this place will always have plenty of threads for me to get caught up on when the time is available. I thought I would catch up a lot in hospital, but my body's response to morphine and then percoset was SLEEP, SLEEP, SLEEP. I guess I must have needed it!

I'm a great believer in listening to our body. Mine (for some reason) has been telling me to eat fresh tomatoes, orange juice and baked beans?
Bah!

Sometime before the plug was pulled, Sean called me and we had a lengthy chat in which we talked about the good old days and we came around to me providing my take on things. In this conversation he repeated that he would not take the site down, even though he was angered often enough to do it.
Yeah we did that too. A two hour call, on our bill, to the states. Sean seemed to be placatory, and was not aware of, and seemed genuinely angered by, some of the shitty things that Steve had posted. He did tell us that Gwen was being ousted and that things would change.

However, apart from Gwen losing admin duties, it seems nothing has changed there, and it is now the world's number one site for discussing Edi's views on class war and the MOTU.

Which I do think has limited appeal...

The CSB needed someone to provide its direction after the G-Man's plug pulling incident.

I even gave a much badgered for apology over there to both the G-Man and Gwen. (You know, the apology that the trio is always harping on that is required. ) It was ignored which just shouts volumes about the people I apologised too. Little Miss Manners never had any, and the G-Man lost his spine somewhere along his extended absence from the Board.

The direction of the CSB SHOULD have come from the G-Man himself. However, he decided to stop posting entirely (which was not his original intention if you are to go by his words.)

As he didn't provide the direction, the course for the CSB is the one that ed, Steve and Gwen want.

It is a sad sham of the Board it used to be and it isn't getting better.

At least ed has stopped trying to get flame wars started after I continually pointed out what he was doing.

Silly pratt, him.
Bah!
