Perhaps so, LJ. But I look on it as a very positive commentary about Christianity. Evidently the expectation of the secular world is that real Christians will behave better than non-Christians. Hence the certainty that a foul-mouthed whiner must not be Christian after all but had stolen the car.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
