So how about an update on the original news item? I know for many years most of the paper money in Florida would test positive for drugs. Did the case hold together for this arrest? Is cocaine use so general now that even the Donuts test positive?
I saw one book written by a Florida defense lawyer on how to jail-proof your teen ager that included the advice to buy your kid a car and weld the trunk shut. Take out the back seats so everything could be seen and nobody could legally ride back there, and fill all the space under the front seats with spray foam insulation, so nothing could be shoved under the seat. Just too easy to plant stuff and all teenagers are crazy and it is always a friend who left behind a baggy or a gun.
I gave the book to my second grandson when he turned 16. Glad we are not in Florida, but there is still lots of teen-ager trouble with cops around here.

Had hot Krispy Kremes a few times while living in DC for law school, they were pretty awesome. Didn't try their coffee.
Used to love some of DD's freshly baked donuts but now not really a fan. Their coffee is good and cheaper than Starbucks, but I get mine at McD's because it's only $1.

More Idiocy.....
People are now lining up for more than pumpkins in Half Moon Bay.
Early this morning, long before the sun had risen, a massive line had formed outside a new Dunkin Donuts outpost in the Northern California seaside city.
Greg, originally from Allentown, Penn., was the first in line and he arrived at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. When the doors finally swung open seven and a half hours later, he ordered four dozen donuts and a coffee.
By 7 a.m. the line was more manageable, with waits of 15 minutes for Boston Kremes, Strawberry Dreams, and Chocolate Frosted Donuts with sprinkles. And of course, cups of the famous coffee. Dunkacinno, anyone?
A Dunkin Donuts opened in Walnut Creek in June with equal excitement and the line to get donuts was over an hour long on its first day. At one time, California was home to 15 Dunkin' Donuts franchises but those have since shuttered, and the new Walnut Creek shop was the first to open in the Bay Area in more than 15 years.
I recall back in the 1970's when DD was a presence in the Bay Area. Their donuts were crap and as the article states, they went teats up.
California Donut Kings, LLC, is the franchising company behind the Half Moon Bay restaurant, according to a press statement. The company plans to open 26 more locations in Alameda and San Mateo Counties over the next several years.
Now, here's the big question: Will they offer pumpkin donuts when the town holds its famous annual Pumpkin Festival in October?
A better question would be (except for the east coast xplants), why would anyone choose DD over the excellent local offerings?
