I got a couple of those emails over the years--one pretty much like to Darren one, the other saying it recorded me masturbating to porn and would circulate them if I didn't pay. The second is a good reason not to surf for porn (or at least to cover the camera with tape or something).
Here maybe you can help Darren out by saying you'll never pay and you dare them to carry through with their threats. Perhaps you could even add some personal insults to show he mans business. I would think that's what he'd do.
