An imbecile would be a major improvement than the idiot (supposedly with an ivy league degree) we currently have.

Oh he's got the degree (his daddy bought it for him), he just didn't get the education.

That's why I said "supposedly". FWIW, it's pretty amazing how the uber wealthy can buy college admissions and degrees without any consequence, but those not on the social register will be jailed for doing the same thing.

Trump’s academic pedigree is irrelevant; what’s wrong with him is a fundamentally damaged personality and resulting lack of moral compass that was all born long before he darkened the doorstep of Penn.

Cruz and Hawley are perfect examples of actually intelligent Yale and Harvard graduates who lack all moral compass too. America needs to stop electing psychopaths.

I agree with your assessment of Cruz; I don't know Hawley well enough, but he hardly made intelligent arguments yesterday.

My mention of Trump's "degree" cam in response to Gob's OP.

Keep your eye on Hawley; he is one of the very scary prospects for Trump 2.0 coming up in the Trumpism wing of the GOP. He’s very clever and cravenly ambitious. He’s likely another psychopath.

The other one who really unsettles me is Tucker Carlson; totally lacking a moral center.

I just hope after yesterday that folks will really grasp that January 20 isn’t the end, it’s only the end of the beginning. America is in an ongoing battle with rising authoritarianism and we’ve learned in the last 5 years that a great many of the people have a hunger for it.
