For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Yeah, it's another variation on a previous theme...
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Have you ever seen a chickpea?

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

If you have, you know that you and she are very, very simpatico indeed and have a strong, solid relationship.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Re: We all love puns
I found that I was out of clean socks the other day, so I gathered up the dirty ones, put them on a tray, grabbed the bottle of liquid laundry detergent, and headed down to the laundromat. It's only a block or so from my place, so I figured I'd walk.
However, the sidewalk slopes downhill, and I don't know if I slipped or stepped on something, but I lost my balance, fell down, and landed on my kiester. The dirty socks went flying every which way, along with the bottle of detergent.

So there I was, sitting on the sock by the tray, watching the Tide roll away.
