LMAO
I especially liked:

I especially liked:
The chick sounds a lot like Jolene Blalock when she was playing T'Pol on Star Trek Enterprise....WTF is an Abominable Snowman?
It's a big hairy beast...they look a lot like Italians, but they don't wear gold chains

I think her acting was why it was canceled.
After, I'd repressed from memory, all knowledge of that show incident.
<shudder>

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I would be remiss if I didn't say that's no way to talk about one of the finest TV programs of the past decade, and a most worthy addition to the Star Trek franchise....I think her acting was why it was canceled.

Please be mocking me, LJ...

How many times you can get your female characters horny and nekkid, is not a central plot device to the storyline.

LoCa, you may recall that back at the CSB, I had a number of spirited exchanges with Her Gweness about STE...
I am in fact a big fan of the show, I think it was well written and well performed, and that it's gotten a lot of unfair criticism....
It lasted 5 seasons (longer than the original, BTW) despite the fact that it was on a network (The WB) not known for attracting audience numbers that create long running programs...
I didn't even discover the show and start watching it till it went into re-runs on Sci-fi....
I'd like to see the series revived....
The only one of the core cast working regularly is Scott Bakula, and he's stuck on that hideous chick show about men, Men Of a Certain Age.... ...
Surely if given the chance to reprise a great role like Captain Johnathan Archer, he bail from that snoozefest in a heartbeat....

Re: So You Want to Live in Montana?
Funny, I was an avid TNG/DS9/Voyager fan, but I never really got into ENT. I think I missed a few too many episodes and then found it difficult to get absorbed in the storyline. I should give it another look if I get the chance, but I haven't seen it syndicated here in ages.

Re: So You Want to Live in Montana?
I remember LJ, you used to use the ENT as an avatar.
Not all ST series were created equal, DS9 had its moments, but was outclassed by B5.
I liked Voyager, up to the last season (which was after Roddenberry died), when thankfully they gave it an honorable send off.
ENT was the first series made without any input at all from Roddenberry, which was why I think I found it lacking. The writer who took over Voyager, also wrote ENT, so there was that difference in style.
Did you ever get a chance to see The Animated series with Tati?

The original series was the best...

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

It just figures a bunch of Trekkies would hijack my thread.
Watch out, I live in Montana, I might go all Unibomber on y'all.
