Of course you should pay. You don't want SPER on your back...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

You KNOW I hate driving.

Can you just pay up so next time you are driving in New York you don't have a warrant out for your arrest over this?
Bah!

Three questions :

Was the above sent to your work email?

Did the perpetrators not think that an email ending in .au was probably NOT going to be concerned over a New York infringement?

Can I reply and spend them and ACT Point to Point camera speeding ticket in return?
Bah!

I've gotten half a dozen of these in the past few weeks...(I haven't been to NY in 20 years)

The people who send these types of things aren't going through their list trying to see which ones it would be illogical to send....

They're doing a volume business; they know NY's a big state, a lot of people live and visit there, and they're casting a wide net hoping to scoop up a few sucker fish who'll open the attachment and infect their computer with a phishing spyware that can steal personal identity info stored on your computer.

Another one I've been getting lately claims to be from Bank Of America, telling me there's a problem with my account...(I don't bank with B of A and never have)

These scum bags know that B of A is the largest bank in the US, so if they send out millions of emails, they're sure to hit people who use it.

These are just new variations of the Fed Ex/ UPS scam emails that were popular a little while back....

Anything they can come up with to entice people to open the attachment they'll try...

'Chatam'?

You've got to hand it to Nigerian email fraudsters — they are nothing if not persistent.

In their latest campaign to fool extraordinarily gullible people into believing that they are due an inheritance, and that a bank in the West African nation is ready to hand over enormous sums of money, no questions asked, Nigerian scammers have begun sending emails that claim to be from U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the security firm AppRiver reported.
