A North Florida teen who "felt disrespected" by her mother after she heard her having sex in an adjoining bedroom called 911 to report the lovemaking, according to a police report.
The 15-year-old called 911 last Thursday around 4 a.m. after she heard her mother and her boyfriend in the act and got upset, according to the Panama City Police report obtained by theSmokingGun.com.
An officer who responded reported that the mother and daughter had "been involved in a verbal altercation" when he arrived.
The mother, 35, told police that she had invited her boyfriend over, and with their rooms were being to each other, her daughter had heard them at some point and became upset.
The teen girl told police that there was no form of abuse or neglect in the house, but she wanted to be placed in a Christian children's shelter, the report said.
After speaking with a staff member at the shelter over the phone, the teen decided to stay home because it was almost time for school, the report said.
The cop on duty left a domestic rights brochure at the residence, the report said.

You have no idea.
As much as I lament the sorry excuse for parenting that a lot of folks seem to engage in these days, at the same time, it's a quite common thing for kids to call the cops or DFS on their own parents. Generally the kids who call are NOT actually victims of abuse, but manipulative little twits.
What a world.
I'm more grateful every day that I didn't bring another soul into this insanity.

The parents of a 15-year-old girl who saw them on a TV programme cavorting in a swinger's club in Germany have won £160 each in damages from a broadcasting company.
The 15-year-old had switched on the programme to see her mother in stockings and suspenders in a cage while her father was dressed as Batman with a sex toy in his hand.
The couple had tried to sue the German TV company RTL for massive damages, claiming emotional upset for their daughter.

'I understand your feelings and I would not like to be in your shoes,' said the chairman of the 9th Regional Court in Munich.
But he rejected their claim for a large amount of compensation because he pointed out that they had gone voluntarily to the club and knew they were being filmed.
The couple argued that they thought their features would be pixillated out.
The production company admitted it had made this pledge to participants but said it had 'simply forgotten' to do so.
If the couple wanted to contest the case further they would have had to bring their daughter into court to testify, said the presiding judge.
According to German national paper Süddeutsche, the judge commented that the case was 'simply embarrassing.'
The judge suggested that the production company and RTL pay the parents a small fee for their appearance and cover their legal expenses.
The couple agreed to accept just £160 each and their legal costs.
