“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Around 4am Sunday, The Guardian newspaper reports Sony raised the wholesale price of Houston's The Ultimate Collection, originally released in 1997, by 60 per cent, from $7.33 to $11.73.
This immediately bumped up the price of the album on iTunes and brought howls of complaints from fans.
Sony insists the move wasn't a cynical grab for cash, but "that the wholesale price of Houston's The Ultimate Collection was wrong" and they were just correcting things.
