This paper will examine the way in which normally sane and lucid people lose all sense of proportion and perspective, due to over engagement in internet forum rivalries.
It will examine the cases of "chicken Steve", Quaddriver" "LoKatec" and "AndrewD" in an attempt to draw common themes, in these once respected and liked posters decent into vicious campaigns of hatred and and personal vendettas.
It will develop and investigate the psychological phenomena behind; "The David Ben Arial/Hatch", "Van Halen", "Your owners never cared about you" and "Internet swindler" phenomena.
