Thanks
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Well, as stated the 'clean' same-sex couples have no problems in the CA system.

Re: Milk, bread, coffee,
We were in our early forties and I wanted another baby. We knew we were at risk for having a child with Down syndrome. The plan was to have the prenatal test and abort if it indicated Down syndrome. I really don’t like abortion and my church is totally against it but I would want to be aborted myself rather than suffer in a world where the wolves devour the helpless. But, after we learned that he would have Down syndrome she could not or would not do it. There was nothing that I could do about it but what an oncoming disaster. I thought she was crazy and kept trying to encourage her to have an abortion up until the end. This thing was not going to end well. But after he was born and I held him in my arms my life changed and it didn’t matter anymore; I can’t explain it, it like something came over me. My life started over that day and it has never been the same since; nothing is more important than he is, but I still think it is not going to end well. That was twenty one years ago and I still love him Just as much as I did that day that I first held him in my arms. I let my desire for a baby cloud my judgment; I was stupid and now my son has to live with it.
I know that last sentence was not supposed to end with a preposition, but that is what came out.

Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.
Re: Milk, bread, coffee,
My cousin has a developmentally delayed child; she's a teenager with the mentality of a young child. My cousin worries endlessly about what will become of her child after cousin and her husband are gone. Cousin's older child is terminally self-centered, so is not likely to care for the younger sibling when the time comes.
Do you have plans for your son after you and your wife pass away, liberty?
I'm going to make a very controversial statement here, and I want to start by saying that I worked with Special Olympics during my teen years and I know how sweet and lovely many Down Syndrome people are; they seem to be born with essentially good-natured personalities and I've personally never met one who wasn't a pleasure to be around.
Still, after the many years I've worked in the 'system', and with what I know about foster homes, group homes, institutions, etc. - I don't think it's a terrible thing that genetic testing and elective abortion has greatly diminished the prevalence of Down Syndrome in the population.
Our culture doesn't care for the least of us very well, and forget about it if you have special needs and are also poor.

Re: Milk, bread, coffee,
Because of my son I have an affinity for the retarded. I heard about an institution or group home in Texas in which the workers were using the clients for fight club a few years ago. I just glad it was not close to me and I knew who the leader was; I am afraid that I would not be able to keep myself from visiting the son of a bitch with a baseball bat. If anyone as much as picked on my son I would be as mad as hell, forcing him to fight could cause me to commit assault; the fact that my son needs me is the only thing that would keep form killing someone who molested him.
I believe that Witchy would take him, but at the moment she has a full plate. So we have to manage to live another ten or twenty years and by that time my granddaughter says she will take him.
The problem is; that there is no one that cares form him as much as we and I worry about my wife’s gullibility.

I don't know, perhaps you can explain why you introduced it into the discussion.

Oh yeah, and perhaps while you're at it you can evade explaining exactly what you meant when you referred to certain same-sex couples as "clean". So then who are the "dirty" or the "unclean" same-sex couples?

Re: Milk, bread, coffee,
And it was predictable, this was one of those threads where all the posts were on topic and people were discussing their opinions rationally, and we absolutely could not have that, so the trailer trash skank decided that she was going to attack someone for not being married with children, when she knows full well that there were legal impediments that made it impossible. Now she has changed her tune and decreed that the issue she chose to raise is off limits. Once again, a case where the irresistable urge to act like a complete bitch blinded her to the implications of what she was saying, and now she feels like a jackass and doesn't want anyone to talk about it anymore.
