Re: Name That Movie!
Econo strikes again! Well done!
I was doubtful about Foreign Correspondents at first but have to say that it won me over fairly quickly. Gervais (for a change) plays a rather endearing chap - an optimist, faithful, earnest, kind - the guy who's almost begging to be put upon. It's all so far from being frenetic and vulgar that I was pleasantly surprised. (Note: I think the UK Office was brilliant; altho' there was one episode/character that annoyed me).
Give it a try, Big RR - you might like it.
Over to you, Econo

I'm sorry for whatever I'm going to do and I swear I didn't do any of that stuff I did.

No...
Another quote?
Another quote?
For true enlightenment there is nothing like... well, let's just say taking a shower while this large fellow with an attitude you couldn't knock down with a hammer, that keeps whispering in your ear: Oh nancy, Oh nancy. Now that was a lot of fun, thank you so very much John for putting me in there, thank you so very much for giving me an opportunity to get to know myself much better.

Re: Name That Movie!
Oh, well then I definitely wouldn't be interested in watching it...far from being frenetic and vulgar
Thanks for the heads-up...

No, not Johnny Dangerously...
This one gives a little more away (though I did have to redact one short phrase in order to keep from making it too obvious):
C'mon! Anybody? This is not some obscure film by some little-known director with unknown stars.

Revolvers, like this one, were given to the generals at the end of the civil war by their troops. The chambers were loaded with 5 gold plated bullets to symbolize the end of the destruction and death that set the country apart for 5 years. Now, [........................], I think we all can look towards a time where none of us will have to discharge another firearm ever again.

Finally. Well, Jim, it's up to you whether you want to take it or hold back and see if someone else does. If you decide to wait, I could post one more quote later (from the beginning of the film) that would make it even more obvious.

Well, I'm going to be offline for the next 6-8 hours, so I'm just going to drop this here now. If this doesn't do it, nothing will, and Jim might as well take the prize.
Imagine, a world without murder. Six years ago, the homicide rates had reached epidemic proportions. It seemed that only a miracle could stop the blood shed--but instead of one miracle, we were given three.

This is a movie that is tough to find quotes from that aren't dead give-aways...
I'm pretty sure that just about everyone here has seen it:
