Name That Movie!
Name That Movie!
Ooh, ooh, I remember that. It starred the Andrews Sisters; LaVerne, Maxene, and Patty. Due to my condition I think about that movie all the time.

That's right LJ - sorry for the delay nobody was posting and I quit checking the thread.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

This movie was made in the same time frame as All About Eve, and it was also the inspiration for a very popular 60s TV show...A: Are you trying to say you're... *jilting* me?
B: W-well, that's a very heavy word. It's a very heavy word. Let's just say that we're... uncoupling.

One of the fave movies of an old boyfriend, he used to tell me I reminded him of Kim Novak:

And sitting on our butts is not going to help us either. Maybe by climbing out of here, we can save ourselves. If you've got any sense, you'll come along with us.

Re: Name That Movie!
Well, that was a wild guess an my part, although it sort of seemed appropriate. When I was looking for a poster image I realized that I might have been right, since I've seen the movie a couple of times. Since the movie was set for New Year's Eve that made it apropos.
OK, so new quote:
OK, so new quote:
C1: I have a strong psychic belief that the world will end on New Year's Eve.
C2: Well, for your sake, I hope you're right.
Death is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.

Just in case anyone was waiting for me to confirm that RayTom's answer is wrong, RayTom's answer is wrong.
As in, wrong genre, wrong decade, wrong cast, wrong director, wrong studio... Oh, but it was set in the same City, so there's that.
A hint... like the prior 2 movies I quoted (months ago, being I rarely see a quote I could even take a stab at), this one is also a sequel...
