The Rubato Story?

Not a bad guess Dale, but this is a different black comedy... 8-)

Okay, this one is going nowhere...

Here are a couple of more quotes that should be a giveaway for anyone who has seen the movie:
Death has become a middle class business. There's no future in it.

There's got to be a way to get those stiffs off my property.
And here's a Ray-type clue:

If nobody gets it with these additional clues by tomorrow (and I assume if Big RR stops by, he probably will) then I'll give the answer and put up a new one...

Not me Jim--I'm stumped (and that doesn't happen often).

Let's flip all the cards, you get $75 and a carton of Chesterfields.

Jim-I don't know the name, but was Jonathan Winters in it? For some reason, that's the only thing I can see based on your quotes.

Yes he was, he is also the one who played two roles...

(Milton Berle also had a small part in it, so I guess there were two MM Worlders in the movie...)

If that doesn't jog anybody's memory sufficiently to recall the name in the next couple of hours, I'll go ahead and give the answer.

OK, I know I saw it, but still can't thin of the title; I think Tab Hunter was in it as well (and Polyester)

A very quirky film, (especially for it's time...it was made in 1965...based on a satirical novel by Evelyn Waugh)

Get a load of that cast:

Image

Newly arrived in Hollywood from England, Dennis Barlow finds he has to arrange his uncle's interment at the highly-organised and very profitable Whispering Glades funeral parlour. His fancy is caught by one of their cosmeticians, Aimee Thanatogenos. But he has three problems - the strict rules of owner Blessed Reverand Glenworthy, the rivalry of embalmer Mr Joyboy, and the shame of now working himself at The Happy Hunting Ground pets' memorial home.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059410/

A lot of superb performances, but Rod Steiger as the temperamental and creepy senior mortician Mr. Joyboy really stole the show:

If you haven't seen it and you like good quality black comedy, it's definitely worth a watch...

Moving along...

Okay since I'm tired of messing with this thread, I'm going to make this one so easy that even Ray can get it...

(Assuming he's the next person to click on this thread since I'm pretty sure that the next person who does will be the winner):

Captain Renault: What in heaven's name brought you to Casablanca?

Rick: My health. I came to Casablanca for the waters.

Captain Renault: The waters? What waters? We're in the desert.

Rick: I was misinformed.
