Given that there hasn't been a post in this thread since Friday, I'm going to go out on a limb and speculate that nobody here (who hasn't looked it up) has the answer...

I had to look it up as well. but I think they goty it wrong--it couldn't be this:
this was a film that was based on a play, which in turn was based on Fellini's movie 8 1/2. Not a great adapatation, but it had its moments.

All I know is that I need to find it, cuz it looks good. The best thing about this thread is how many good movies I didn’t know about that I’ve come to learn about.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

I've been real patient not looking up the last quote hoping for another clue, but apparently none are forthcoming.
I suppose I could take Ray's "Guess" of 'Eraser' and run with it as a "clue", and pick something similar like:
"Erased"
Only b/c it's an action flick and the name is similar to Ray's guess. Other than that it's darts.
