No, not really....

And Taro(t) Cards are not made from poi.
Re: Name That Movie!
Okay, since Big RR hasn't taken it and apparently no one else who hasn't looked it up knows the movie, I'm going to go ahead and give the answer and the next one will be a freebie for whoever would like to give a new clue:
"Venom"
"Venom"
Re: Name That Movie!
Okay, I'll throw the next one out (this is NOT a recent movie so there is a chance someone remembers seeing it!):
If I'm going to be alone, I want to be by myself.
Re: Name That Movie!
I've never seen that, but it's available on Amazon Prime, so I put it on my watchlist and I'm gonna watch it soon.

I do; a pretty good film, and one of the very few I can say the female lead did a good job in (there are a couple of others, but generally I think she is overhyped--I'm not sure why).
Re: Name That Movie!
Because she was knockout gorgeous?

Re: Name That Movie!
To some perhaps, but I didn't see it; or at least there were a lot more actresses of that time who I think were far better looking to me than she was. But as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I have no doubt that her physical looks played a part in her success. Personally, I think it is because she was marketed the right way--not sure who is responsible for that, and it may be her for all I know.
Re: Name That Movie!
Plenty of good clues by BSG and BigRR. One of the reasons I liked this movie was the wild horses of the Great Basin; as a kid I recall going out to a BLM ranch where they captured them and tried to re-home them with ranches and families. Movie is full of good lines:
I love Nevada. You know, they don't have regular meal times here. Never met so many people didn't own a watch! Might have two wives at the same time, but, no watch. Bless them all.

Re: Name That Movie!
here's a movie from the same time period dealing with the vanishing of the "Old West".
It starred Kirk Douglas.

Re: Name That Movie!
that's one I had to google; I presume you mean Quigley Down Under and not the movie Quigley, about some sort of dog? From the description, I don't think they are realted.
